The National Weather Service has issues a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northwestern Lamar County until 8:15 a.m. 

UPDATE: 8:08 a.m.: The Severe Thunderstorm Warning will expire at 8:15 a.m. The National Weather Service said the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northwestern Lamar County until 8:15 a.m. 

At 7:50 a.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northwest of Paris, moving northeast at 55 mph. Hazards include quarter-size hail.
