Police Briefs Tuesday

Fred Ondra Dangerfeld

Paris police said they stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at 7:22 p.m. Monday for not using a turn signal, and the traffic stop ended with the arrest of 59-year-old Fred Ondra Dangerfeld of Paris on multiple charges.

There were three people in the vehicle, police said, and Dangerfeld gave a false name. He was later found to have a felony warrant out of Dallas County and was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, third or more.

He also was charged with failure to identify as a fugitive by intentionally giving a false name.

Dangerfield was later taken to the Lamar County Jail, where he was detained without a set bond this morning, jail records show.

Calls for Service: Paris police responded to 90 calls for service and arrested 6 people Monday.
