The Chisum ISD board will look at possibly extending its contract with project managers for the $26.94 million 2016 bond project at Monday night’s meeting.
The project started in 2017 and has finished multiple parts of the three-phase project. Middle and elementary classrooms, ag classroom, greenhouse and a new fieldhouse have gone up. Construction has been delayed by the recent rains pouring across Northeast Texas. Local contractor Harrison Walker Harper is heading the project.
During the meeting, the board also will look at budget amendments, new hires and discuss a resolution by the Lamar County Appraisal District for purchase of land and improvements for the relocation of the appraisal district office facility and for a loan.
The board meets at 5:45 p.m. Monday night at the Chisum ISD administration building.
