UPDATE, 3:50 p.m.: Jamarion Rose has returned home, Paris police said.

Paris police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a missing 12-year-old boy.

Police said they were contacted Wednesday about Jamarion Lamont Rose, who left his home in the 2900 block of Clarksville Street to spend the night with a friend. Police said the address of the friend's home is unknown.

When the friend's family was contacted, they said they knew nothing about Rose's location, police said.

Jamarion is described as being 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair. When last seen he was wearing bleached blue jeans, a Chicago Bulls T-shirt, white Nike Air Force One shoes, and carrying a black backpack.

He was missing for approximately two days before being reported. He has been entered in TCIC/NCIC as a runaway.

Anyone having information on Rose is requested to contact the Paris Police Department at 903-784-6688 or your closest Law Enforcement Agency.
