Kroger Berry Recall

Kroger on Friday recalled its Private Selection Frozen Triple Berry Medley, both 16- and 48-ounce sizes, and its Private Selection Frozen Blackberries, 16-ounce size, due to possible Hepatitis A contamination.

Kroger has recalled its Private Selection Frozen Triple Berry Medley, both 16- and 48-ounce sizes, and its Private Selection Frozen Blackberries, 16-ounce size, due to possible Hepatitis A contamination.

The products were manufactured by Townsend Farms. No customer illnesses have been reported. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration tested a sample of the berries, and it came back positive for the disease.

Kroger has removed the potentially affected items from store shelves. It warns customers not to eat the berries, and to return them to the store for a full refund or replacement.
