Paris High School Robotics will host a Lego’s Robot Academy this month, open to boys and girls in grades four through six.

The camp will present Lego Mindstorms Education EV3 Base Set and software, exploring the boundless world of robotics and engineering. This exploratory experience will encourage teamwork, friendship and creativity from day one. Classmates will work in small groups to complete project and compete in a tournament.

This course has a focus on engineering design process, building and programming using EV3 Lego’s software.

The registration fee for this 8:30 a.m. to noon class from July 29 to Aug. 2 is $100, and it’s due by July 20. Space is limited and registration is required. The class will take place at 2255 S. Collegiate Dr. in Paris.
