The effects of homelessness on school children will be a point of discussion at the quarterly meeting of the Lamar County Homelessness Coalition, scheduled for Thursday at noon.

The meeting will be in Lewis Hall on the north side of the Paris Regional Medical Center campus.

Coalition members are asked to bring new school supplies to the meeting, though no amount is required.

Requested items include pencil boxes, glue sticks, crayons, markers, watercolor paint, No. 2 pencils, erasers, index cards, spiral notebooks, scissors, highlighters, color construction paper, wide ruled paper, ballpoint pens, red pens and more.
