Happy Fourth of July, Red River Valley!

To celebrate the nation's birthday, Mother Nature is giving us mostly cloudy day with a high near 88. There's a 30% chance of seeing some isolated storms. Any storms that form will likely be brief and non-severe, but there could be gusty winds as they collapse.

Tonight, temperatures will dip to just 72 degrees under a partly cloudy sky. That will lead us into a beautiful mostly sunny Friday with a high near 90.

May your Fourth celebrations be safe and happy, and may God bless America.

Happy Independence Day!
