Forty-three descendants and friends of the late thomas Asberry Draper and Exa Bea Ricketson Draper met June 8 at Victory Baptist Church in Paris for a 39th family reunion.

The group shared a fish fry prepared by Tim Morton, followed by dessert to honor the 60th anniversary of John and Janice Draper.

Bill draper lead the blessing, and Shelley Godwin and Amie Cato conducted drawings for doors prizes provided by Ruth Bryant. Winners were Linda Bryant, Larry Chaney, Thomas Draper, John Draper, Rylan Draper, Kimbree Draper, Deryl Draper, Leah Draper, Alan Dunn, Corey Harris, Liz Harris, Kaden Harris, Grace Harris and Kathy Ricks. Sam Draper won the grand prize for huesing the number of pecan halves in a gallon bag

Janyce Draper awarded prizes to recognize Ruth Bryant, 92, as the oldest present; Breckyn Willow Dunn, 3 months, as the youngest present; and Jeff Draper from Pacific Palisades, California, as having traveled the farthest.

Those in attendance not already listed were Don and Loveta Draper, Kelly Draper, Danny and Cheryl Naron, Judy Morton, Owen and Kelley Jobe, Scott Godwin and Spencer, Kyleigh Harris, Sherry Chaney and Hannah, Charles and Sherri Draper, Keith and Terry Draper, Melinda Wade and Bonnie Dunn.
