Saturday Storms Ending.jpg

The cold front will sweep across the region on Saturday, bringing a thin line of showers and thunderstorms followed by increasing west winds and much drier air. There is still a marginal risk for severe storms across the far southeastern zones, with frequent lightning, hail and damaging winds as the main threat. Most of the convection will move out of the area by late afternoon and evening. Still, it will be mild with temps in the 70s with breezy west winds.
