The Telephone Volunteer Fire Department is welcoming the public to enjoy hamburgers and hot dogs at 6 p.m. Thursday to help it raise funds for truck and building improvements.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available at the Telephone Community Center, 359 CR 2145 in Telephone. There will be games to play, a bounce house with a slide for the kids to enjoy and fellowship with other members of the community.

Donations are not expected, but will be appreciated, according to organizers.
