Senior citizens will be shouting “bingo” and winning prizes at this month’s City of Paris Senior Citizen Day at the Paris Event Center, 1875 Fitzhugh Ave.

The event takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday.

“We’re expecting a good crowd and plan to have lots of fun,” event organizer and Paris Public Works Secretary Carla Trent said.

Members of Paris Regional Medical Center’s  PrimeTime are expected to again join activities.

“Some of the members came out to our last gathering and took back fliers to Prime Time,” Trent said. “I think it has created some excitement over there.”

Social gatherings are held each month with a variety of themes, Trent said.
