Helga Zidermanis

Helga Zidermanis, 100, of Paris, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Auseklis Zidermanis officiating. Burial will be made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, from noon to 1 p.m.

Mrs. Zidermanis was born Oct. 16, 1917, in Riga, Latvia, to Karlis Grinbergs and Hannah Loisider Grinberga.  

Mrs. Zidermanis was called to be a world missionary. She ministered around the world and helped to establish many churches.

Survivors include her children, Audris Zidermanis and wife, Phyllis, of Dallas, Daigone Z. Garner of Paris, Auseklis Zidermanis and wife, Vera, of Waco, Austrums Zidermanis and wife, Rose Ann, of Decatur and Marite Z. Eastes and husband, Gary of Georgetown; and her grandchildren, Shane Zidermanis, Tanya Wade, Rudite Peel, Arija Priest, Homer Neal Garner, III, John-Edward A. Garner, Daiga Stroud, Andrea Tefatiller, Aina Cheek, Micah Zidermanis, Adena Zidermanis, Alexandra Eastes, David Eastes and Victoria Eastes.
