Dorothy Louise Armstrong
Dorothy Louise Armstrong, 74, of Belvidere, Ill., formerly of Paris, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, in Belvidere.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Meadowbrook Gardens with Dr. Richard Nash officiating.
She was the daughter of Ralph M. and Berniece Caldwell Armstrong, born Sept. 6, 1935, in Paris. While living in Paris, she attended Central Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Glenda Joyce Armstrong in 1969 and Alice Armstrong Herbig in 2006.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Joe Herbig of El Paso; two nephews, Paul Herbig and Robert Herbig both of El Paso; two nieces, Alisa Herbig Morgan of California and Wendy Herbig of Joliet, Ill.; several cousins including, Richard and Cindy Nash of Paris, Jane Harper of Arlington and Charles Armstrong of Trophy Club; along with her dear friends, whom she considered her family, Rose and Lester Jones and their daughter, Penny, of Capron, Ill.
