Kenneth Ray Steele
GREENVILLE – Kenneth Ray Steele, 58, of Blossom passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
Graveside services are set for 1 p.m. Saturday, at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville with Rev. Paul Gould officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville has charge of arrangements.
He was born Dec. 20, 1950, in Greenville to Lee and Bonnie Walker Steele. He worked as an electrician at Earth Grains. He was a fireman and first responder with the Pattonville Volunteer Fire Department for a number of years. He married Annie Thompson Dec. 31, 1983. He loved his woodworking and fishing. He was a member of the Lamar Baptist Church (now Family Fellowship) in Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one nephew, Kane Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife of Blossom; one step-daughter, Karen Roberts and husband, Kevin, of Rowlett; three step-sons, Willis Wade and wife, Debbie, of Greenville, Lonnie Wade and wife, Judy, of Farmersville, and Randy Leggett and wife, Sandy, of Greenville; brother, Gary Steele and wife, Susie, of Fredericksburg; sister, Janice Fletcher and husband, David, of Sherman; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nieces; and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Willis Wade, Lonnie Wade, Randy Leggett, Kevin Roberts, Justin Wade and Jason Wade.
