Mr. and Mrs. John A. Draper Celebrate 50th Anniversary.
Janyce Fangio and John Arch Draper were united in marriage on September 11, 1959 at Calvary Baptist Church. J.W. Baker officiated.
The couple has been blessed with four children, Kathy McDonald, Charles Draper and wife Sherri, Melanie Stribling, and Jeff Draper. They have also been blessed with five grandchildren, Kristen Tucker and husband Ronnie, Ryan Stribling and wife Morgan, Lynsey Boss, Leah and Samuel Draper, and one great-granddaughter, Tessa Tucker.
John retired from Babcock & Wilcox Co. and Janyce is a homemaker and has been a private piano teacher for 41 years.
The couple attends Springlake Baptist Church where both teach Sunday School, and John sings in the choir. Janyce is the church pianist. The couple has planned a trip to Germany and France later in September.
The couple will be honored with a reception, hosted by their children at Celebrate It, located at 4195 Pine Mill Road on September 12, 2009 from 2-4.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
