James Edward ‘Eddie’ Cain

SULPHUR SPRINGS — James Edward “Eddie” Cain, 53, of Sulphur Springs passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at his residence.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cooper with Bro. Malcolm King officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home.

No formal visitation is scheduled.

He was born Oct. 29, 1955, in Cooper, the son of Nowlin Watson Cain and Grace Killebrew Cain. He was employed by Owens Country Sausage in Sulphur Springs. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

He was preceded in death by his father; one niece; and one nephew.

Surviving family includes his mother, Grace Cain Blevins and husband, Homer, of Sulphur Springs; sister, LaRue Lawson and husband, Alvin, of Cooper; brothers, Michael Cain and wife, Sandy, of Emory, and Hank Cain and wife, Daria, of Sulphur Springs; nephews, Shannon Cain and wife, Nikki; nieces, Amanda Lawson, Chelsea English, DeAnn Griffin and husband, Mike, and Karla Jones; great nephews, Heath Cain and Steven Griffin; great nieces, Lydia Cain, Kristina Griffin, Megan and Haley Jones and Emily.
