Bertie Lee Bolton

Bertie Lee Bolton, 105, of Paris passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Paris Skilled Nursing.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Rockford Cemetery with Dr. Ed Schaeffer officiating.

The family receives friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of George Henry and Hattie Amanda McCann Frye, born May 25, 1904, in Lamar County. She married Clyde Bolton in December of 1925. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1995. During World War II, she worked at the Red River Arsenal in Hooks.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lee Price.

Survivors include a son, Charles “Sonny” Bolton and wife, Virginia, of Paris; a daughter, Celia Bagwell and husband, Jim, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Shannon Horner and husband, Mike, of Atlanta, Ga., Charles “Chuck” Bolton, Jr. of Paris, Carl Bradley Bolton of Paris, Bobby Littlefield and wife, Theresa, of Sherman, Steve Littlefield and wife, Monica, of Sulphur Springs, Vicki Franzen and husband, Dewey, of Josephine, Judy Adrian and husband, Jerry, of Cooper, Debbie Davenport of Irving and Sherry Collia and husband, Alfredo, of Grand Prairie; 18 grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
