James Barron Moore ‘Chicken Fry’
James Barron Moore “Chicken Fry,” 69, of Detroit died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at his home.
A memorial service is to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Don Shovan officiating.
He was born Jan. 29, 1940, in Houston, a son of Joe Bailey and Dewilla Estell Rhoades Moore. He married Robin Watson in Paris. He was an electrician technician at Kimberly -Clark. He loved the outdoors and hunting and fishing was his favorite past time. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Robin; children, Gabriel Moore and wife, Misty, of Detroit, Carri Moore and Samantha Moore of Center; grandchildren, Matthew Trevino, Savannah Moore, Yance Flores, Zevyn Moore, Gabriella Moore; great-granddaughter, Haley Moore; and a niece and nephew.
