Raymond T. ‘Bud’ Clark

CLARKSVILLE – Raymond T. “Bud” Clark, 84, of Bagwell, a wonderful and caring husband, father and grandfather, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at East Texas Medical Center in Clarksville.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, in Bogata Cemetery with Rev. Carl Bush officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Clarksville Funeral Home.

He was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Red River County to Thomas Jefferson and Nellie Bolton Clark. He retired after 25 years of guard service at Campbell Soup Company in Paris. He was a Baptist, served in the U.S. Navy and loved collecting tractors.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Katherine Clark; three brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Clark and David Clark of Bagwell; two daughters, Pamela Lewis and Sherry Poor of Bagwell; and numerous grandchildren.
