IDABEL — The Museum of the Red River has a way for your business or organization to show its Holiday Spirit this season while getting some free publicity and promoting teamwork within your group.
Businesses and civic organizations throughout McCurtain County and southeast Oklahoma are invited to enter the Second Annual Festival of Trees hosted by the Museum of the Red River. Your group or business may decorate your Christmas tree in a way that represents what you do or work with. For example, last year’s winner, McCurtain Memorial Hospital, decorated its tree with bandages, X-rays, etc.; the Lions Club used eye glasses and circus animals. All entries will be displayed in the hall and lobby of the Mary Herron Community Conference Center, December 2 through December 31.
