Murlin-Childress
Sarah Murlin of Paris, Texas and Jay Childress of Antlers, Oklahoma were married in a double ring ceremony on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the couples home in Paris.
Brother Dewayne Hammil officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Evelyn Adams of Pharr, Texas.
The groom is the son of Bill Childress of Antlers, Oklahoma and Joy Childress-Watkins of Faulk, Arizona.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Tylor Murlin and her father John Adams. Attending the bride was Winter Lockett, of Paris, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaid was Katelyn Murlin, daughter of the bride.
The best man was Joel Merrell of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Groomsman was Toby Childress, brother of the groom.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the couples home in Paris.
Sarah is employed by Dr. George and Dr. Moseley as a registered dental hygienist. Jay is employed by Wingfield Engineering as an engineering draftsman.
