RRV teams ousted in playoffs

The rest of the Red River Valley's playoff teams were defeated in playoff contests Friday.
In volleyball, the Detroit Lady Eagles fell in four games against the Normangee Lady Panthers in a Class A regional semifinal match at the University of Texas-Tyler.
In bi-district football games, both the North Lamar Panthers and Prairiland Patriots suffered setbacks. The Panthers lost to the No. 8 state-ranked Prosper Eagles in Rockwall by a score of 37-0, while the Patriots were edged, 7-6, by the Melissa Cardinals in Garland.
