Tye-McGee
Darlene Tye of Sumner, Texas proudly announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter Dori Nicole Tye to Joel Thomas McGee.
The couple will be married at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 5, 2009 in a private family ceremony. Patrick Cannon will officiate the ceremony.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Glynn and Peggy Penn of Sumner, Texas and Weldon and Elizabeth Tye of Burleson, Texas. She is a graduate of North Lamar High School and Paris Junior College. She is employed by Paris Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse.
Her fiancé is the son of John and Donna McGee of Paris, and the grandson of Thomas and Jean McGee of Powderly, Texas and Mrs. Jeanie Lamb and the late Don Lamb of Paris. He is a graduate of North Lamar High School and is employed by the Paris Police Department as a patrolman.
