Mary Pauline Cleary
CLARKSVILLE – Mary Pauline Cleary, 89, of Detroit died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at ETMC Clarksville.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the First Christian Church with Rev. Roy Cleary, Rev. Bobby Harris and Dale Miller officiating. Burial is to follow in Detroit Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 4, 1920, in Detroit to Frank and Clara Cox Shafer. She worked for the Detroit Independent School District for many years and was a member of the First Christian Church in Detroit.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Cleary; five brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Cleary of Detroit and James Cleary of Wylie; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
