Racers take checkered flag at Paris M.S.

Michael Cannon took first place in the Cyclone Class and Jonathan King finished second during last weekend’s race at Paris Motor Speedway.

Races are held on Saturday at the speedway.

In the Hobby Stock featured race, Chayson Ross of Sulphur Springs claimed first, while Brad Ford of Paris came in second.

Jonathan Cameron of Pickton won the Southern Stock Class and Allen Screws of Pickton was second.

In the I-Stock Class, Kyle Thompson finished first, James Potter of Pattonville was second and Marty Hicks of Powderly came in third.

Justin White of Ector won the IMCA Sportsman Modified Class with Sulphur Springs’ Chad Ross finishing second.

In the IMCA Modified Class, Rodney White was first, and Kevin Clement of Bonham was second. Michael Smith of Blossom was third.

Brian Prim won the Mechanics race.
