It’s time for society to take a stand

Published November 23, 2009

Are we paying attention to what is happening before our very eyes?

Somehow, I have some doubt.

We seem to have become a very tolerant society and accept whatever the current administration decides. It is my opinion that is time to rebel and take our country back. Roger Haley is again on target with his comments. The Obama administration appears to be on a mission to destroy the economy and our way of life. You can call it whatever you prefer, but it should be very clear we are headed for disaster.

We are fighting two wars against terror and we have to be apologetic when addressing our actions. There is something wrong with this picture.

The United States of America is the strongest and most prosperous country in existence and we need to remain as such. It seems that this will be very difficult to achieve when we are so passive.

We need to realize that an individual was elected to administer the federal government that apparently has no regard for the American way of life. We do not need to bow to anyone or any foreign country. We are currently supplying aid to too many foreign nations and due to our current wasteful spending, bailouts and poor decisions, we are beginning to feel the pressure. The answer is not clear, but we do not need to crank up the press and print any more money. We do not have the collateral to support it.

The recent decision by the Attorney General to bring the terrorist to trial in New York City is a disgrace and very disrespectful to the victims and families of the 9/11 disaster. However, the president says that this was the decision of the attorney general and that he was not advised of it.

Are we naive enough to believe this? Somehow, I think not and encourage all to become aware of what is becoming more apparent each day. It does not take much effort to realize that we can only protect ourselves.

The 2010 election is becoming more important each day and we must unite as responsible citizens and rescue our country from the very idiots that have been elected to represent us. They have apparently forgotten who sent them to Washington and that we can also be the force that sends them home.

I encourage all that are concerned to join me in the 2010 election and send a strong message that enough is enough.
