Eula Fay Walker
DEPORT – Eula Fay Walker, 74, of Cunningham died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, in Paris Skilled Facility.
Funeral Services are set for 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, in Abundant Life Church in Minter with Rev. Donnie Sherrill officiating. Burial follows in Restland Cemetery in Cunningham. Wood Funeral Homes has charge of the arrangements.
The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home in Deport.
She was born in Red River County, near the McCrury Community Sept. 3, 1935, the daughter of Marshall Eloise and Alice Slaton Trussell. She worked in housekeeping in Red River Haven for several years.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Alvin James Fox and R.C. Walker; one son, Doyle James Fox; and a sister, Carol Trussell; a brother, Johnny Trussell; and a grandson, Brandon Glenn Fox.
She is survived by children, Mike Fox and wife, Jan, Norma Callicoat and husband, Calvin, Ricky Fox and wife, Teresa, all of Cunningham, Kathy Mitchell and husband, Bob, of Minter, Jackie Fox and wife, Doshie, John Walker and Jarvis Walker all of Cunningham; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Marcella Wright of Deport, Brenda Berry and husband, Doug, of Powderly; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Major of Clarksville.
