Burglaries abound over Halloween weekend

Burglars were busy during the Halloween weekend, hitting at least two Paris businesses and six residences.

Residents reported break-ins in the 2300 block of Hubbard St., 1100 block of 15th N.E. St., 100 block of 29th S.W. St., 200 block of 25th N.E. St., 1700 block of West Kaufman St., and 200 block of 16th S.E. St.

The burglaries occurred from Friday night to Sunday.

Friday night, a busin3ess in the 2800 block of N.E. Loop 286 as hit. That burglary was reported shortly after 7 p.m.

Early a coin-op business was hit in the 1700 block of Lamar Ave. That was reported shortly before 9 a.m. Friday.

Investigation in the rash of weekend burglaries by the Paris Police Department is continuing, but no arrests have been made.
