Betty Gean Flowers
BOGATA — Betty Gean Flowers, 66 of Avery died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at Paris Regional Hospital.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Bogata Mission-ary Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Daniels officiating. Interment follows in Lydia Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home in Bogata.
She was born Feb. 23, 1943, in Lydia, the daughter of C.P. and Margaret Horton Taylor. She married Loyd Flowers on Nov. 14, 1958, in Dallas.
She is survived by her husband, Loyd Flowers of Avery; two sons, Jackie Flowers and wife, Yolanda, of Longview and Jason Flowers and wife, LaQuinta, of Avery; one daughter, Sandy Flowers of Avery; one brother, Leslie Taylor of Gun Barrel City; two sisters, Evelyn Smith of English and Pauline Byram of Grand Prairie; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
