Smith-Flournoy

Mr. Roy Smith and Mrs .Donna Smith of Detroit, Texas proudly announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Trena Richel Smith to Jerry Scott Flournoy.

The couple will be married at 7 o’clock in the evening on October 30, 2009 at Celebrate It! in Paris. Judge Cindy Ruthart will officiate the ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Tom and Eula Smith of Detroit, Texas, the late Vancil Bowen of Post, Texas, and the late Darrell and Estelee Yawn of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She is a graduate of Chisum High School and attended Texas Womans University. She is employed by Red River Vital Care in Paris as a registered pharmacy technician.

Her fiance is the son of Thomas E. Flournoy of Detroit, Texas and Kim Rice of Centerton, Arkansas. He is the grandson of Thomas K. and Jackie Flournoy of Detroit, Texas, Jerry and Barbara Franklin of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Lee Montoya and Ginny Potter of Spokane, Washington. He is the great-grandson of James and the late Jenny Copeland of Detroit, Texas, and Lucy and the late Epi Montoya of Wenatchee, Washington. Jerry is a graduate of Detroit High School and attended High Tech University in Phoenix, Arizona. He is employed by Turner Pipe, Industries as a fabricator.
