Jerry Zane Suddeth

Jerry Zane Suddeth, 47, of Paris died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, in Paris Regional Medical Center.

Memorial Services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Wood Funeral Homes Chapel with Reverend Donnie Sherrill officiating.

He was born Feb. 15, 1962, in Welch, the son of the late Don and Barbara Barnett Suddeth.

He was Uncle “Nubbin” to nieces and nephews, Tara, Tylan and Landon Smith of Blossom and Justin “Possum” Suddeth of Colorado, Jami Childers and Gabrielle and Ethan Cornwell of Hugo, and Lindsay Cole of Deport. He loved his family, friends and his dog, Bubba. He spent many hours enjoying his favorite pastime – fishing, and lived four years at Lake Fork, while his parents were alive. He also liked traveling, taking several trips to Jamaica and Cancun. He worked for 20 years at EarthGrains and had also attended the American Institute of Baking in Manhattan, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his favorite Uncle, Jesse Ray “Sonny” Barnett of Corrientes, Argentina.

He is survived by his former wife of 18 years, Andrea Pyeatt; two daughters, Shannon Suddeth and Kristin Hitch; granddaughter, Aleksia of Lubbock; two brothers, Bobby Suddeth and wife, Pam, of Deport and Jimmy Suddeth and wife, Kari, of Hugo, Okla. His Aunt Ruth and two of his cousins, Jon and Jo Barnett, live in Weatherford, and his third cousin, Ray Barnett, lives in Argentina.

The family requests donations be made to the Lamar County Humane Association, 300 Clement Road, Paris, TX 75460.
