Mr. and Mrs. William Paul Rogers
Mr. and Mrs. William Paul Rogers Celebrate 50th Anniversary.
Patricia Ann Ervin and William Paul Rogers were united in marriage August 29, 1959 at Cottonwood Church of God by Reverend Otha Anderson.
The couple have three children: Paula Woodard and husband Gregg of Frisco, Texas; Staley Rogers and wife Leah of Paris, Texas; and Dwana Metzger and husband Greg of Florida. They have seven grandchildren.
William retired from Babcock and Wilcox after almost 42 years and Patricia worked at Reep’s, Fuller’s, and Abbott’s Furniture, before becoming a full-time homemaker.
They both love playing music and being with family and friends.
Their children will host a reception at Paris Church of God Fellowship Hall, 1400 Bonham Street on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Family and friends are invited to come help celebrate this occasion and share memories.
