David Eugene Rosson
David Eugene Rosson, 51, of Brookston passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, following a motorcycle accident near Hugo, Okla.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with burial following in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The son of Forest Harris and Inez Shiew Rosson, he was born Jan. 29, 1957, in Antlers, Okla. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and, most of all, riding motorcycles.
He was employed at Suddenlink Communications in Paris and had worked at Superior Switchboard, General Cable in Bonham and Tri State Auto Glass.
His wife of four years, Cindy Ann Rosson, was with him at the time of the accident and passed away also. He also was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Inez Rosson of Antlers, Okla.; his daughter, Latricia Rosson and fiancé, Travis White, of Paris; two sons, Michael Rosson and wife, Kristin, of Reno and Steven Rosson of Paris; four grandchildren, Taylor White, Alaina White, Travis White and Nathan Rosson; his wife of 24 years and mother of his children, Gayla Rosson, of Paris; a sister, June Rhodes, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two brothers, Bill Rosson of Sherman and Jim Rosson of Antlers, Okla.; a step-son, Justin Weathers; a step-daughter Megan Weathers; two step-grandchildren, Lily and Hayden; along with a plethora of nieces, nephews and friends.
