Grace Smith
FARMERSVILLE – Grace Smith of Nevada died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at Lake Pointe Hospital in Rowlett.
Graveside services are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas.
Visitation is to be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Hurst’s Fielder-Barker Funeral Home in Farmersville.
She was born June 23, 1922, in Pinhook, the daughter of Emmett and Beulah Jordan Ramsey. She married John L. Smith Nov. 10, 1962, in Dallas and was a retired Merle Norman cosmetic store-owner and co-owned Smith Carpets with her husband.
She is survived by her son, Everet Conder and wife, Correne, of Nevada; three sisters, Linda Cole, Dahlia Ray and Willie Dean Shaffer, all of Paris; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
