Jarvis Dewayne McCarty
Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Connice Mayes officiating. Burial follows in Fairland-Littlejohn Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 23, 1987, in Paris, to Homer and Ethel McCarty Young Jr. He was a graduate of Cooper High School.
He is survived by his daughter, Brianna Lynn McCarty of Paris; mother, Ethel McCarty Neal and husband, Wesley; father, Homer Young Jr. and wife, JoAnn; brothers, Damine McCarty of Paris, Danzel McCarty of Paris, Isiah Young and Isaac Young; step-brothers, Devin Neal and Wesley Neal, both of Paris; and sister, Deann Young.
