Jimmie Ann Warthan
CLARKSVILLE — Jimmie Ann Warthan, 72, of Fort Worth and formerly of Avery passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at Odyssey House Hospice Center in Fort Worth.
Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Kevin Donohue officiating. Burial follows in Warthan Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family receives friends an hour before service time at the funeral home.
She was born July 21, 1937, in Kilgore to Herbert and Margie Myers Warthan. She was a retired teacher and had her Masters of Education and taught English, journalism and speech. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by a sister, Jonell Donohue and husband, Kevin, of Fort Worth; two brothers, Gary Warthan of Avery and Dr. Lynn Warthan and wife, Jackie, of Nacogdoches; three nieces; and one nephew.
