She was born April 24, 1923, in Cuthand. She was the daughter of Harvey and Frankie Harville Gee. She married Milton Wooten Dec. 21, 1940, in Cuthand. Four children were born to this union, Billy, Philip, James and Linda. She retired from Master Molders of Clarksville. She was a hard worker until osteoporosis took away her good health. She never gave up. She loved to quilt and did so for the public until her health once again prevented her from doing so. She was a very generous person. If anyone gave her anything it was guaranteed that person would get something in return. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Bogata.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton, in 1992; two sons, Billy and Phillip Wooten; one brother, Lewis Gee; and three half-brothers, Carl Duffey, Douglas Duffey and Marion Earl Duffey; one sister, Louise Townes; and two half-sisters, Effie Brock and Letha Kuempel.

She is survived by her son, James and wife, Gayle, of Vega; daughter, Linda and husband, Ross Eilers, of Cuthand; daughters-in-law, Wanneti Wooten of Kaufman and Sandra Callahan and husband, Allen, of Clarksville; and one brother-in-law, Earl Townes of the Lone Star Community. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Krynson Jesko and husband, Daniel, of Hereford, Camie Murphy and husband, Michael, of Bagwell and Amanda Hooper and husband, Kent, of Henderson Nev.; three grandsons, Billy Wooten of Harralen, Tenn., Kenneth Wooten of Kaufman and Aaron Callahan of Texarkana. She was blessed to have five great-grandsons, Michael Ross and Cody Murphy of Bagwell, Brandon Wooten of Kaufman, Josh and Chris Wooten of Harralen, Tenn.; and three great-granddaughters, Katilyn and Lexi Hooper of Henderson Nevada and Calli Fay Callahan of Hagansport.

The entire Wooten family would like to thank everyone for being there for them during their time of sorrow. The family requests donations be made to the Cuthand Cemetery.
