In Game 2, Bonham took the early lead before Moore nailed three kills to put the Lady Cats ahead for good.

Last week, the Lady Eagles fell to Wolfe City to begin District 17-A competition and defeated Avery later in the week.

LADY DRAGONS WIN
GAINESVILLE - The Paris Junior College Lady Dragons edged North Central Texas College by scores of 25-13, 24-26, 17-25, 25-17, 15-12 Tuesday night.
Hillary Baugh led the Lady Dragons with 20 kills, while Logan Anglin added 11 of her own.
Adrienne Boswell had 23 assists, and Morganne Fikes had 19 digs.
“It was a well fought match by both sides," PJC head coach Justin Maness said. "It's tough to drop two in a row and regain momentum. The ladies regrouped in set four and evened out the sets. Game five was tight up to eight points and we began pulling away.
"We have been working hard in practice and stressing finishing. We played great defense down stretch and made key offensive plays when needed.”
The two teams will have a rematch Thursday at 6 p.m. inside the Hunt Center.
