WOLFE CITY — The Paris Dirtbags made light work of Wolfe City on Thursday by picking up a convincing 11-4 victory over the squad in a 19-and-under Dixie Series tournament.

The tournament will continue today with the Dirtbags squaring off against Commerce at 4 p.m. at Wolfe City High School.

It will end Saturday with the tournament championship games.

In other tournament action on Thursday, Farmersville defeated Princeton 10-1 and Van Alstyne blanked Trenton 8-0.

Paris Dirtbags 11-Wolfe City 4.

Friday’s games

• Farmersville vs Van Alstyne 4 p.m at Trenton (semi-finals).

• Princeton vs Trenton 6 p.m. at Trenton.

• Commerce vs Paris Dirtbags 4 p.m. at Wolfe City (semi-finals).

• Commerce vs Wolfe City at Wolfe City 6 p.m.
