Country singer Gene Watson is scheduled to bring his melodic tones to the Red River Valley Fair’s Main Stage at 8 p.m. Thursday night, but fair officials are looking to the skies and watching weather reports.
“The performance will go on rain or shine,” said Rita Haynes. “But if it is raining, we will move it inside the Livestock Barn.”
Haynes said Watson’s performance is so important and he has so many fans rain should not keep them from seeing and hearing him.
The show will go on the Main Stage at scheduled, unless the weather changes plans.
