Gray-Evatt

Rebecca Gray and Kent Evatt were united in a double ring ceremony, July 4, 2009 at Central Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Johan Parks, uncle of the groom. Becky is the daughter of Paul and Rosa Gray of Paris. Kent is the son of Carol Evatt of Ponca City and Jerry Evatt of Ralston, Oklahoma.

The bride wore a white satin gown accented with beads and crystals at the waist, hem and full train and she carried a bouquet of deep red roses. Attending the bride and groom were Matron of Honor, Sarah Brown, sister of the bride and Best Man, Ward Evatt, brother of the groom. Bridesmaids and groomsmen were friends of the bride and groom, Mandy Wallace, Eden Endsley, Dustin Bardin and Fred Beartrack. Flower girls were Hannah and Mallorie Brown, nieces of the bride. Ring bearers were Samuel and Paige Seale, nephew and niece of the groom. Ushers were friends of the groom, Jarod Marshall and Will Lockett.

Following the wedding ceremony, Becky & Kent celebrated with family and friends from Oklahoma, California, Texas and Louisiana at Heritage Hall. The dinner reception was catered by Birthwright BBQ. The bride and groom’s cakes were created by Cozy Cappuccino.

The bride was honored with bridal showers hosted in Oklahoma City by Eden Endsley, in Paris by the ladies of Cornerstone Baptist Church, and a personal shower hosted by her sister Sarah Brown. Becky and Kent were also honored by First Baptist Church, Lafayette, with a couples shower.

Becky graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, and the University of California-Dominguez Hills. She is a certified Prosthetic Practitioner with Hanger Orthotics & Prosthetics. Kent graduated from Oklahoma State University and is employed with Continental Resources as a Pipeline Engineer. Following a honeymoon trip to northern California, Becky and Kent are living in Enid, Oklahoma.
