BLOSSOM — Blossom City Council is expected to set a tax rate for 2021-22 and approve general fund and utility budgets for fiscal year 2021-22 when the council meets at 5:30 p.m. tonight at City Hall.

After discussion in executive session, the Council is expected to set salary schedules for City Secretary Stacy Prestridge, Public Works Director Jack Baker, Deputy City Secretary Linda Porterfield and Maintenance Superintendent Steve Sessums.

Other agenda items include disposition of property at Neill and South Bois d’Arc streets, ditch excavation on West North Street, the appointment of a city attorney and the payment of bills.
