Community Faces | Downtown Food Pantry Donation

Load Trail, the Sumner-based trailer manufacturer, recently donated a 16-foot utility trailer to Downtown Food Pantry. Officials plan to use it primarily for logistics to ensure food received reaches the satellite pantry which operates out of the Dorothy West House at 201 Pecan St. in Roxton. The satellite pantry distributes food on the second and fourth Thursday each month from 9 a.m. to noon to residents of Roxton. Pictured are operations director Chuck Burton along with Roxton volunteers Glenda King, Ruthie Starks, Janet Wheeler and Les Phillips.
