Nancy Earlene Hedrick, age 72, of Blossom, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, in Fort Worth after a brief illness. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled Memorial Services for Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, beginning at 2 p.m. at Novice Baptist Church with Reverend Duane Falk and Randy Dority officiating. A time of visitation will begin 30 minutes prior to service time at 1:30 p.m.
Nancy was born on Jan. 19, 1950, in Oklahoma to Earl and Carmen Frances Lord Breashears. Nancy was in management for Holiday Inns for many years before a career at Choctaw Casino in Grant from which she retired. Her passions included crafting, gardening, and canning. Her loves, however, were spending time with her family and going to Sunday school and Church on Sundays.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jackie Turner; and her mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Wilma Hedrick. Survivors include her husband, Michael Hedrick; a daughter, Kimberly Sumner and husband Jason; step-children, Sean and Roger Hedrick; two granddaughters, Jessica and Alexandria Sumner; siblings, Carl Till, Curtis Till, Tommy Breashears, and Karen Frazier; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
