The Paris High School Blazettes drill team, along with Willie and Wilma, the Wildcats’ mascots, are ready to perform for fans this year, despite some required precautions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
While Lamar County Judge Brandon Bell and county commissioners gathered for a meeting inside the Lamar County Courthouse earlier today, a group of protesters marched outside, petitioning for the Confederate statue on the courthouse lawn to be moved to a historical museum.
