A former clerk for the city of Paris, Zoe Hazelwood, will speak at the Lamar County Genealogical Society meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hazelwood was a clerk for the city. She will share stories of the history of Paris.

Membership is not required. There will be door prizes.

The Lamar County Genealogy Library is open Monday-Friday from noon-4 p.m. On the second and fourth Tuesdays, the library extends hours to 4-9 p.m. for free guided research assistance.

The Lamar County Genealogical Society and Library is in the south entrance to the historic Santa Fe Depot, 1135 Bonham St. Call the library at 903-784-5020.
