The “Christmas is for Kindness” campaign was meant to lift those who have lifted others, and to do that, winning nominations were chosen to receive $25 gift certificates to a local business.

The Cowboy Church of Paris will present its 15th annual Christmas in the Camp on Saturday at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. at the pavilion at Love Civic Center, 2025 S. Collegiate St.

An annual Christmas event focused on the birth of Jesus continues this year at Providence Baptist Church on FM 195. The church’s annual living nativity will take place Friday and Saturday, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., weather permitting.
