The “Christmas is for Kindness” campaign was meant to lift those who have lifted others, and to do that, winning nominations were chosen to receive $25 gift certificates to a local business.

Blossom Church of God, 255 North Cedar St. in Blossom, will host a live drive-thru Christmas Nativity on Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night.

An annual Christmas event focused on the birth of Jesus continues this year at Providence Baptist Church on FM 195. The church’s annual living nativity will take place Friday and Saturday, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., weather permitting.
