CitySquare Thanksgiving meal

Volunteers from Chisum High School Beta Club, members of a Girls Scout troop and players on the North Lamar High School Pantherettes basketball team all volunteered to help pass out Thanksgiving meals to CitySquare neighbors and other community members Monday evening at the City Square facility on Bonham Street. CitySquare Executive Director said that members of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ assembled the traditional Thanksgiving meals that were labeled for those neighbors who signed up to receive the meals in advance. CitySquare officials also prepared for members of the community who dropped in and said around 280 meals were prepared and given out.
