The Detroit Lady Eagles traveled to James Bowie High School over the weekend, and for their efforts came away with a 30-18 victory in a hard-fought, defensive battle.

It only took the Rebels a few minutes of trapping and high pressure to create chaos for the Detroit Eagles. Rivercrest, ranked seventh this week, was able to run-and-gun their way to a 71-25 victory that was fueled mostly by steals and layups.

It was a long night in the Rivercrest Gym for the visiting Detroit Eagles. In an always much-anticipated rivalry between the two Red River County teams, the Rebels left no doubt who earns bragging rights for the 2020-21 season as they soundly defeated Detroit, 78 - 28.  

Tuesday’s game between the Detroit Eagles and the Celeste Blue Devils started out a neck-and-neck battle. Unfortunately for the team from Red River County, though, it didn’t take too long for Celeste to pull away thanks to its athleticism and outside shooting, and Detroit went on to lose 72-28.
